Allow all seniors over the age of 70 to receive Medicaid benefits regardless of their financial status.

Created by J.B. on November 15, 2012

So much of Medicaid money is spent in investigating the financial status of seniors that are applying. If a senior has over a certain amount of finances stashed away for their senior years they are disqualified for five years to receive Medicaid benefits. If we allow all seniors over seventy to qualify regardless of thier financial status, we can cut out most of the wasted time and money spent on investigative procedures. This would cut federal jobs and spending. It would also allow some seniors to retire and open their jobs to younger applicants.
