Allow all soldiers to carry concealed weapons on base in uniform to prevent any further Fort Hood shootings.

This petition is to bring to the attention of our government and senior military leaders the lack of proper safety and security for our men and women in uniform while in the United States. We ask that all Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, and Airmen be permitted to carry their personal concealed weapons (with valid concealed carry permits) on any US military installation or at any time while in uniform on or off duty. This is in response to the SECOND mass shooting on a US military installation state side, resulting in multiple fatalities and wounded. Our soldiers are told to hide, or flee. This is not an option any longer and if nothing has been learned from our nation's recent mass shootings, "shelter-in-place" does not save lives, armed - trained bystanders save lives and can stop these acts.
