Allow all United States citizens to vote on where their taxes are allocated

We as United States citizens should have a say on what our government votes to spend tax money on. All those 18+ should have a optional vote to choose where our money goes to. This will cut wasteful government spending on useless programs and keeping OUR people in power or OUR nation. For example we spend millions of dollars to create an Iranian version of "Sesame Street", do we really need to spend the money you as a citizen worked hard for to an informational television show that's not even in our country? That should be for us to decide, mainly; because it's our money. The money the government spends isn't their money, so they spend it without a second thought. We need to be in control of our own money so it is put to good use.
