I petition the President to work with Congress to allow ALL law-abiding U.S. Citizens the right to legally carry their concealed handguns in/on ANY U.S. Federal Buildings/Property. The U.S. Taxpayer pays for the construction and upkeep of these properties, as well as pays for the salaries of those who work inside.
Asking the law-abiding U.S. taxpayer to disarm when entering U.S. Federal Property when that citizen was vetted with Federal Background Checks for the purchase of the weapon they are carrying, as well as additional background checks in order to obtain concealed handgun permits, is unconscionable.
U.S. Federal Buildings and Properties are allowed to provide as much armed security as they see fit, but can no longer demand the U.S. Citizen disarm.
