Allow all Veterans to transfer their Post 9/11 GI Bill Education Benefits to their Children by closing the 8 year gap.

Created by D.B. on August 03, 2014

When the Post 9/11 Bill was passed it unfairly denied Veterans who departed service prior to August 2009 the opportunity transfer their education benefits to their spouses or dependent children.

These benefits are going unused while these veterans and their families are trying to fund the rising costs of a college education, accumulating thousands of dollars in student debt in the process.

Tell the President, and Congress, to show that they truly care about veterans, their families and a college education for their children. Tell the President and Congress to close the 8 year gap in the Post 9/11 GI bill and allow all Veterans to transfer their education benefits.
