Alternate theories to Darwinian Evolution should be allowed to be taught in the public schooling system. Teaching only evolution to keep religion out of schools is just teaching another religion, naturalism. Public schools should stay neutral so they do not force students in any direction. There is supporting evidence for other theories such as punctuated equilibrium, intelligent design, cosmic ancestry, creationism, and the list goes on. Given this information it is their right to freely teach and learn other theories. Alternatives to evolution should be legal to teach in public schools.
