This petition attempts to rectify two national issues for the price of one.
I am personally willing to sacrifice my constitutional right to bear arms for a set period of time (30 years) for total and utter student loan forgiveness.
If coming up with a sliding scale like forgiving $10,000 per year of non-ownership of a firearm seems a little more reasonable then so be it, that will also suffice.
This isn't a permanent or forceful infringement on my rights but rather an incentivized commitment of my rights to a cause of national concern. Hopefully this can appease both sides of the gun control debate while assisting young Americans who are burdened with the weight of student loan debt.
