Allow American homeowners to purchase automatic rifles except for of any criminal history what soever.

I want the permission to allow American homeowners to purchase and own military class automatic rifles. Any one with any criminal history what so ever is not allowed to purchase one in their lifetime. I believe owning a military class automatic rifle would better ensure our defense and intimidate countries even more so they would not think twice about attacking of invading the United States of America.
