Allow the American people to choose their President

At the moment, a select few in the electoral college chooses a president for us rather than us choosing our president. The electoral college was feasible when it was created as votes back then were carried on horseback and counted. Nowadays, however, there are huge supercomputers capable of handling the votes of millions of United States citizens. There have been several incidents where a candidate won the popular vote but lost in the Electoral College where it counts. At the moment the popular vote means nothing. Therefore, I propose that we do away with the Electoral College and allow a direct popular vote handled by Supercomputers to determine the President of the United States
