Allow the American people to exercise their Right to Vote by creating a National Holiday on Election Day.

The Right to vote is one of the most important right given to an American Citizen. It allows for the people to elect the representing bodies of our government, it stands as one of CORE values of a democracy. But in recent times people are hindered from performing such basic right due to Time constraints from their workplace. A right to vote is the MOST important CIVIC duty an American can perform. If such things as Jury duty is required of a citizen why is voting to elect the representative Leader, the President of the United States given any less attention? I petition to make the National Election day a National Holiday to help the American people express their opinion and voice without obstacles.
