There are currently 24 states that allow for the initiative process; in which residence of those states are allowed to collect signatures for a proposed bill (written by the citizens of that state), and if the required amount of signatures has been met the bill will go before the state legislature fore a vote. This is away to give the American People more say in what bills are important to us. This petition is to allow the American People to have the same opportunity in federal legislation. Please sign this petition if you would like to see the U.S. government create a website, similar to this one, where the American People can submit bills and vote on them. Then if the purposed bill gets one million signatures on its petition, it would then go before congress.
