The American people should decide what bills should become law and what bills should not. Currently, a single individual decides what laws we will follow. Because the President's view on a bill may be opposite of what the majority of American people want, we have seen controversial bills become laws. Like the law preventing the distribution of alcohol which later was overwritten by another law which allowed the distribution of alcohol.
We the American people need to decide what laws are best for us, not one person who has thousands of lobbyists trying to sway that individual's opinion to allow certain laws and not others.
