Allow the American people to vote and determine when and if the Congress and Senate deserve a pay raise.

Created by R.D. on October 20, 2011

The average American citizen, with a job, has to go thru a performance review each year and based on that information are given a raise; if one is possible. Raises are structured based on performance and is used as an incentive to be productive and efficient. The American people are the employers of the Legislative branch and should have a say on whether or not they deserve a raise; instead of allowing this matter to be decided by them or their political peers. This matter should be voted on by the American people every two to four years. It would be a way to insure that those elected officials would be more concern with their job performance for the American people and not the lobbyists or donators.
