This petition is to require the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) be amended so that in additional to the yearly free credit report which we are entitled it now provides a free credit score.
Trans Union, Experian, Equifax and FICO control much of the US consumers ability to purchase (or not) everything from automobiles to homes. Presently these scores which that judgement is based, are hidden from the American citizens or available to us at a cost. Since it is their scores which impact us, we should have access to this information at no charge. ( limited to 1 score annually from each above agency)
