Under Article I, Section 5, clause 2, of the US Constitution, a Senator or Representative may be expelled if there is a formal vote on a resolution agreed to by two-thirds of the members of the Senate or House body who are present. Currently, there is no way for a branch of government other than the legislative branch to force the expulsion of a sitting Congressman/Congresswoman or Senator. We, the people, ask that a voting mechanism that allows the public, when under duress or abuse, to be invoked. This would be a voting system, similar to regular elections, that allow polling stations the right to cast ballots in a simple 'Yes' or 'No' format that would decide if that district would remove it's leadership. Results would be counted in percentages of people who vote.
