to allow American voters to vote whether to raise or lower Congressional salary during elections.

Created by D.M. on May 01, 2014

As an American citizen and worker, I do not get to vote as to whether or not I receive a raise each year. I have to earn any increase in pay I receive through hard work and value creation for my employer. Congress should be the standard, not the exception, and as such, should have to earn any increase in pay they receive, by the American voter.

Congressional approval rating is at one of the lowest in history, and that is due to the bi-partisan agreement of their constituents that they provide no value for America, nor represent their constituency.

I earn my pay by fulfilling my obligations to my employer and creating value, Congress should too.
