I propose that we make a fundamental change to how our political system functions. This change will:
1) empower the American public to assist our elected officials in deciding which legislation passes or fails.
2) create the potential to eliminate a lot of the political gridlock and posturing which often materializes on topics in Washington.
3) allow the American people to finally earnestly show what "We the People" want for our country.
To accomplish this goal - I propose that we create a web-based system which presents legislation being voted on in the two houses of congress to the American people, and allows those people to cast their votes directly on this legislation.
