Allow Americans to invest in renewable energy sources through the government.

We would like to be given the option individually to pay a slight income tax increase to be placed apart for the sole purpose of training and employing the unemployed in a national renewable energy project. Those who sign up would pay a 10% discount for energy as the plants go up from those who do not pay in, and those who do not pay in would be guaranteed a rate equal to or lower than traditional energy companies. Yes, we understand that this will take a long time, but we also understand that if we wait for someone in the private sector to do this, it will happen too late. We must do this as a nation, without capitalist corporate organizations who see more profit at this point in letting the energy, jobs, and environmental crisis continue.
