"Moonshining" has been an American tradition before the United States was founded. It didn't become illegal till bureaucrats decided that the people were too independent and wanted to enslave them more by taxing them. It is in these economic times a shame that a citizen can not fend for themself and family for fear of the law because they are doing something that wasn't deemed illegal till 1920. The Federal Government needs to cease and desist all operations and apply amnesty to all of those who operate stills.
