Allow Americans with no history of gun violence or mental disorder possession of firearms.

After the horrible events that took place at Sandy Hook Elementary, all Americans are looking for someone to blame, but attacking Law Abiding gun owners is not the solution, nor will it ever be the solution. We must look at simple facts; that abolishing gun ownership rights will not stop Crazed killers from committing terrible crimes. And attacking violent video games will not solve the issue. But first and foremost, attacking gun owners that have committed no crimes is unjust, and goes against common sense. The actions of a few cannot be used as ammunition to assault the rights of many. Criminals act without sense, and refusing to allow citizens weapons will only make criminals seek them by illegal means. Illicit drugs are against the law, yet are still a huge problem facing this nation.
