The USA has never previously acknowledged and supported breastfeeding by producing a postage stamp honoring it. Other countries including Spain, Cuba, Luxembourg, Guatemala, Uganda, Bangladesh, and Greece have. Childhood syndromes and allergies run rampant in our country and none can argue breastfeeding is the best start to life mothers can give their children. We the people feel it is in our best interests to have breastfeeding supported by our government in the way of a postage stamp. It will make it seem more normal to the public and will raise awareness to the subject of breastfeeding as the primary way for infants and young children to be fed.
