This petition allows any candidate for President which meets the minimum state requirement for Constitutional Amendments to be allowed in Presidential Debates. This requirement is currently 38 states. In 2012, this would have allowed for the following political parties to debate.
Republican Party (50 states) - Mitt Romney
Democratic Party (50 states) - Incumbent Barack Obama
Libertarian Party (48 states) - Gary Johnson
Green Party (46 states) - Jill Stein
Other parties secured ballot access in enough states to win an electoral race if they had obtain ALL electoral votes, however, they had ballot access on less than 38 states.
We must have 38 states ratify a Constitutional Amendment, and this threshold will allow for more political influence in elections.
