Social security is expected to run out of funds sometime around 2035. This means anyone 40 years old or younger who pay into social security will not receive any benefits. Our government has mismanaged this fund for years. Anyone who wishes to opt out of social security should be allowed to and receive the money they have already paid in. Our government has shown that they cannot manage money, so why should we continue to trust them with our retirement?
