Allow the ATF to do its job by repealing the 'Tiahart' amendment.

We petition the administration to remove the restrictions on the ATF put in place by the 'Tiahart Amendments,' which include, but are not limited to:
- Requiring the destruction of background checks within 24 hours
- Not requiring gun dealers to keep an inventory to check for lost or stolen guns
- Not allowing local law enforcement to trace and investigate corrupt gun dealers and traffickers
In addition, remove the restriction put in place by Rep. Sensenbrenner requiring Senate confirmation of the director of the ATF, so that this vital organization can have full-time leadership.
