Allow the ATF to process application for restoration of gun rights to nonviolent first time offenders.

Created by J.M. on January 29, 2014

We the people deserve to have our 2nd amendment rights. That is why it was written in the constitution. Some years ago the government stopped allowing the ATF to process applications to restore gun rights to felons that have completed thier sentences. I believe the government should allow the ATF to process applications for any first time offender that has completed their sentence, if said applicant is willing to pay a substantial processing fee and meets amended requirements. Said applicant shall be deemed to not have commited any other crimes, and offense that took the rights shall not be related to a gun of any type. Even if you only allow applications for hunting rifles. Something so a good old American that has made a mistake can partake in teaching thier young how to hunt.
