Politicians have turned the floor of congress into a theater expressing positions out of touch with Americans and often siding with big business or the broken structure of the people's government. Politicians need to hear from the people in an environment that does not allow them to control the narrative such as at town halls or through letters that get canned responses. Politicians have access to mass media to push a party position; it's time the American people get to talk directly to the collective but dysfunctional members of the Legislative branch of government.
