The tradition of swearing in upon the holy Christian Bible should be reserved only to those presidents who adhere to and believe in its contents. As our current president supports gay marriage and the legalized murder of infants, both in direct conflict with the Christian Bible, it would be non-sensical for him to swear an oath upon it; such behavior is tantamount to simply lying. As Marx's atheism is more in line with President Obama's beliefs in infant murder and "anything goes" approach to marriage, coupled with the President's revulsion of capitalism and his push for a socialist/ communist America, swearing upon's Marx's masterpiece only makes sense.
