Allow Capital Punishment in Michigan Again

Created by J.H. on April 29, 2014

The high crime rate in the United States has already caused many states to impose the death penalty on those who commit capital crimes. Michigan citizens have opposed the death penalty. Is this wise, since recently, Flint, Michigan has taken the lead as number two of top one-hundred dangerous places in the United States?

Perhaps Michigan should reconsider and pass the death penalty to lower crime rate because states that adopted the death penalty, have lower crime rates. If Michigan passed the bill to accept the death penalty, its repetitive would have a major impact on the high-crimed minority cities in Michigan. Capital Punishment has been banned in Michigan since 1963 and it is time to bring it back.
