The Obama administration in contradiction to the recently upheld Hosanna-Tabor decision has refused to exempt the Catholic Church and other religious institutions from its sweeping new health care mandates that require employers to pay for abortions, sterilizations, contraception for their employees. Everybody who now buys health insurance insurance is FORCED to pay for abortions. Obama now recognizes that the easiest way to erode religious freedom is by attacking unpopular beliefs first.
The rule forces insurances companies to provide these services without copay, implying that these are free, but that is naive.
This latest erosion of our first Freedom should make all of us pause. Pregnancy is NOT a disease.
