Allow the CDC,NIH, and other health organizations to conduct gun-related research.

In 1996, the NRA pushed for legislation that stopped Dr. Mark Rosenberg from conducting research on firearm ownership and its correlation to fatalities and injuries in the home. This restrictive discussion on gun violence has prevailed into this decade and must be repealed! As of 2012 the CDC and other health institutions are not permitted to conduct research on gun violence which can neither support or dispute claims from the NRA and Congress. If we as Americans are to decide the fate of our firearms and how to better our laws, then studies must be done!
