We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Allow certain felony convictions to be waived to allow felons to join the military.

Created by S.K. on July 29, 2016

Ever made a mistake? I have, and i dont believe it should haunt you for the rest of your life and follow you around forever. I believe there are some people out there ( like myself) who deserve an opportunity at a second chance. I believe there should be a waiver for those who have been convicted or plead guilty of a felony ( some offenses obviously non waiver able) to join the military. My offense stems from a theft charge in 2012 in Ohio. 5th Degree Felony Theft (lowest possible felony in ohio) I cant help but think how many others there are out there like myself who have truly been rehabilitated and are trustworthy members of society. This petition should be signed if you believe in second chances.
