Allow the Chance to Prove I can Serve

Created by A.H. on November 08, 2011

I am a disabled American wanting to serve in the US Army and have spent 15 years wanting and attempting to jointhe military. I know what is expected and worked as a security officer in various locations, including outside of a biker bar. The Army does have frame work in place for me to do this however I cannot seem to get anyone to just meet with me, face to face. I dress myself, I cook, I can clean, etc, etc, no nurses, no real special equipment outside of a bungee cord, shower chair and my wheelchair. Please, I just want to be able to prove I am able to serve, even be deployed to most European countries, Japan and a few others. I do realize not everywhere is accessible, however, most of the US is still not easily accessable.
