Make it so that the Christian Church can decide if they oppose homosexual marriage, if so then allow them to ban it. However in its place allow homosexuals to be joined in civil union. This way the Church can remain out of politics and homosexuals will receive equal political and social rights. Religions should be able to choose if they want to allow homosexual marriage for example.
