With medications for allergies and fast, almost immediate relief inhalers now widely available, I believe that a person who suffers from allergies or asthma should be considered for at least a test to enter into the military. I have asthma and would like to join the National Guard, it has been a dream for me honestly, but was crushed when I was told I "might as well not have contacted them." I may have current asthma, but it does not stop me or slow me down from any activites that I enjoy, such as hiking. If i have any difficulties breathing, I use my inhaler and go right back at it. A loss of 5 seconds or less. I do not believe I should be denied the right to serve my country because of a common health issue, when in every other way I am perfectly fit to serve. We should all have the right
