For millennia cultures world wide have used and accepted precious metals for goods an services. It's only been in the past 100 years that the world has gone to wayside and used paper money backed only by governments and the economical strengths of such governments. This puts us as Americans in an awkward place as we see other nations, such as China, beginning to once again back their currency's with physical Gold and Silver.
This could be a virtual way to bring back a type of gold standard in America with self backing of our currency. In stead of central banks holding the precious metals, Americans like you and I would be. Thus, strengthening the dollar and providing a system already in place if the dollar ever fails. Thank you.
