I should have the right to decide if I want to participate in a federal retirement system as well as a federal medical care system.
Basically forcing this upon people is criminal, requiring us to pay for something we don't want and will likely never see any benefit from.
I also propose that people opting out are able to withdraw all money they have deposited into these systems over the years, and get their money back. This will allow them to use their own discretion and invest wisely in their future.
To balance those that choose to stay in the system, create a record keeping that will allow ones benefits to depend on how much they have contributed, making it impossible to become underfunded.
