Allow the citizens of the United States of America to decide if and how Edward Snowden should be charged.

Created by J.S. on June 21, 2013

Edward Snowden has been charged with theft of government property and espionage. US Officials have asked Hong Kong police to arrest Snowden so they begin the extradition process.
Although Edward Snowden committed crimes against the United States government and broke the agreements he signed when accepting his position(s), his crimes are particularly unique and should be handled as such.
Our government was constructed "of the People, By the People, and For the People" as stated by President Lincoln.
Therefore, we the People petition to be allowed to decide the fate of Edward Snowden, not in a typical court of law, in which the Federal Government would have unlimited resources to convince a jury of ~12 concerning an issue that affects over 300 million American citizens
