It is a complete travesty that people who are attempting to work and get ahead in this economy are held back by whatever non standard, unregulated ordinances that local legislators decide to create to drum up tax revenue. Many of which directly effect the lives of those who aren't financially solvent enough to fight back against. How is a mother whose license is suspended over predatory ticketing practices able to pay back tickets with unrealistic attached interest when the same system that created the debacle ipso facto; blocks her from earning a wage?
Meanwhile that same unethical system allows people who are arrested for driving drunk, and may have murdered people to post bail, then get out of jail, only to be given a work permit, and a breathalyzer device that can easily be bypassed.
