The purpose of this petition is to grant permanent residency and amnesty to childhood arrivals who have:
-Resided in the U.S. for at least 7 years
-Attended school in the United States for at least 7 years
-Have no criminal history,
-Can read, write, and speak English,
-Obtained a U.S. high school diploma for documentation
-Have graduated with at least a 2.8 Cumulative GPA.
Once obtaining permanent residency, the resident would then have the choice to become a legal citizen.This right can also be forfeited by leaving the U.S. for total of 7 years or committing a criminal offense.
