Allowing the City of Chicago to secede from the Great State of Illinois will emininate the tax burden involuntarily thrust upon the "down state" citizenry in supporting Chicago's bankrupt lifestyle. Additionally, separating Chicago from the State of Illinois will allow "down stater's" to develop firearm laws that are condusive to i'ts rural lifestyle.
Thirdly, separating Chicago from the State of Illinois will allow the "down state" population to reorganize it's State Government and avoid bankruptcy.
