Allow civilian federal employees to have shopping access to military commissaries. This would allow previously closed stores to reopen and service their local vets. It would also boost the local economies by providing new jobs. Shopping on post would help to reduce recent financial hardships felt by federal employees. A system could be established to allow non DFAS civilian to pay a slightly higher price than military personnel as to not infringe on their existing benefits. Federal civilians would greatly benefit from prices lower than their local commercial grocery stores.
