Higher education has been a goal for a majority of American youth, but many can't afford it. Most students take out student loans but whether they graduate or not, they are usually buried with debt once they are done with school. I would like to start a movement that actually allows for graduating students to be awarded for their efforts in higher education by erasing all of their student loan debt that they would have accrued. There would be numerous stipulations that the students would have to abide by, like for ever semester under a 2.5 GPA, the student would be responsible for paying 10% of their student loan debt, graduate or not. If you do not complete your degree, you will be held accountable for your loan payments. Education plays a large part in our country, lets reward for it!
