Allow combat medics in the United States armed forces to challenge the nremt-p ( paramedic ) exam.

Created by K.J. on November 20, 2013

United States armed forces endures some of the best training in pre-hospital medicine that the world has to offer. With that being said I believe that veterans that have earned a combat medic badge should be allowed a brief refresher course and then be able to sit in for the nremt-p exam. Combat medics often perform procedures that would only be performed in an emergency room setting in the civilian world. This would greatly help many unemployed veterans and quite possibly help the economy, maybe not to much but every little bit counts.
