We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Allow for the complete pardon and of Keith Cooper, a man who was wrongfully imprisoned and has been proven innocent.

Created by W.H. on October 06, 2016

Keith Cooper of Indiana spent 10 years of his life in prison for a crime he did not commit. He was finally released after DNA evidence which proves his innocence was presented, but the felony for which he wrongfully served time still wrongfully remains on his criminal record. His innocence has already been proven, but due to this refusal to remove the crime from his record, he is still very much a prisoner in how he can live his life, even as a free man who has done nothing to deserve this. Is this the land of the free that I love so dearly? Is this "Innocence until proven guilty?" Is this Justice? This petition and all those who sign it believe that this is an injustice in every aspect, and petition to see that an innocent man be given his God-given right to be free.
