Allow Concealed Carry of Firearms by Military Retirees on Military Installations If State Licensed for Concealed Carry

Created by M.W. on March 26, 2015

Allow military Retirees to carry concealed firearms on military installations in accordance with state laws and reciprocity laws of other states. Many retirees have concealed carry licenses and can't carry because they may have to go through a base during the course of their day. This is especially a problem in large military communities like San Antonio where you may visit several places and several bases during the course of your day and cannot legally take a firearm onto the bases. In these cases retirees cannot carry or conceal in their car and have to make several trips back to their homes to drop firearms off before going to the base. Licensed retirees should be allowed to conceal carry or at least keep in car during short trips on base.
