In order to qualify for this privilege, the GS employee or contractor must have an active security clearance of Secret or higher. These individuals have already undergone deep background checks are considered to be trustworthy individuals by the US Government/DOD. Additional training may be given on an annual basis by Security Forces such as First Responder Medical Training, Range Qualification, Threat Assessment, Counter Terrorism, or Active Shooter Training.
