Allow Congress to be held liable for willfully placing citizens at undue risk from failed fiscal cliff negotiations.

Created by R.K. on December 28, 2012

By failing to reach a comprehensive fiscal cliff agreement on or before December 31, 2012 all members of the Legislative branch of Government (Congress) demonstrate blatant and total disregard for the citizens of the United States of America and place the citizens at grave economic / financial risk. By failing to reach agreement, Congress is willfully subjecting the citizens of the United States of America to the fiscal cliff sequestration process and all associated economic ramifications.

This petition demands that the Federal Tort Claims Act be amended (if needed) to allow members of Congress be held liable for financial injury that result from grievous failure of duty and willfully subjecting its citizens to excessive and unnecessary risk.
