The Trans-Pacific Partnership goes well beyond international trade. If approved, multi-national corporations will be granted an unprescedented stranglehold on the American people, affording large corporations broad power to override existing laws, at any level, if they state that their profits will be negatively impacted. Unbelievably, the specifics of the plan are not available to either the citizens of this country or the Senate - under penalty of arrest for disclosure of "classified" information. Instead, the agreement is being drafted by the leaders of 600 of the largest corporations in the world. Many of these companies are directly or indirectly responsible for the financial devastation that has plagued our nation and the rest of the world.
The senate and citizens must see the plan.
