Allow Congresspeople to claim victims of terrorism or mass shootings as dependans so they get Federal insurance.

Created by L.S. on April 25, 2013

Permitting lower income Americans who have been victims of serious criminal attacks to Federal insurance coverage is the right thing to do. If the Federal government added stipulations to its current insurance policies that Senators or Representatives were able to claim victims of domestic or international terrorism and victims of mass shootings as either dependants or "staffers," it would go a long way toward alleviating the financial burden on these families and get these victims access to better quality care much more quickly. The Federal government could also pick up the premiums for these victims, which would also provide further assistance in times of great suffering.
