We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Allow a Constitutional Vote for Californian Independence.

Created by I.N. on November 11, 2016

Californians have an independent identity, a strong economy, and a culture that is much different than that of contemporary America.

It is clear that California is rarely represented in the Senate, while still having the largest population in country.
It is the leader in change in the United States, yet is held back in forms both economically and socially.
California pays more in taxes than any other state to the federal government in order to support smaller, less prosperous states; the taxes payed for by the Californian people should go to California, not the interests of those who appose our goals.

The only way for this to come forth, for the identity of California to be respected, is for an independent nation. In many aspects, we already are one.
